Hebrew Vocabulary for Groups and Families

Ulpan-Or has created exciting, short, Hebrew-vocabulary workshops for groups and families during which participants are able to get a taste of Hebrew and acquire some very useful words for immediate use during their visits to Israel.

Ulpan-Or staff consisting of several instructors equipped with audio equipment conduct the workshops wherever the groups are hosted.

Hebrew-vocabulary topics are unique and creative, designed to encourage the participants to learn Hebrew vocabulary while having fun, thus helping them gain confidence in using Hebrew in everyday situations. Participants are engaged in lively dialogues, acting and presenting in Hebrew vocabulary.

After completing only one such workshop, participants will acquire an arsenal of expressions that will enable them to conduct short conversations with Hebrew vocabulary and help make them feel at home during their stay in Israel.

These workshops can be combined with an outdoor activity that involves visiting various locations of interest, such as the Machane Yehuda market in Jerusalem, the Carmel market in Tel Aviv, the enchanting Ein Kerem neighborhood in Jerusalem, or the Neveh Tzedek neighborhood in Tel Aviv.

During such activities, which are conducted entirely in Hebrew vocabulary, the participants actually turn into “tour guides” and Ulpan-Or instructors into “tourists.” Interaction with Israelis during the tours is very much encouraged.
