Ulpan-Or is highly committed to the privacy of its visitors and
customers. We strive to ensure a safe and secure on-line
environment, in particular for our youngest visitors. The
purpose of this privacy policy is to inform our visitors what
kinds of information we may gather from you during your visit to
our site, how we may use that information, whether we disclose
that information and the choices you have regarding our use of
the information. Please understand that this policy applies only
to our site and not to organizations and sites to which we link.
We have clearly marked our site and pages with our logo wherever
this policy applies.
Information about all our visitors
Our web service
automatically gathers certain usage information like numbers and
frequency of visitors to our pages. These figures are used much
like television ratings to help us determine how much visitors
use different parts of our site, and how to make our site more
useful and appealing. We use a technology nicknamed "cookies" (a
process which lets us store information on your computer to
enhance future visits). We do not provide visitor information to
outside agencies or mailing lists.
Information about you
We may, at times, ask you
for specific information when you sign up for a service or buy a
product. We will request certain information such as name,
e-mail address, billing address, and/or credit card number in
order to provide that service to you. We may also use that
information to notify you of events concerning Rules of the
Game, such as rule changes, new editions, or local appearances
by Robert Poole, game inventor. If you prefer to not be added to
our mailing list, please drop us an e-mail. We will also include
instructions for removal from our mailing list with anything we
send to you.
Disclosure
We do not disclose
information about your visits to our site, or any other
information you may provide, such as e-mail address, name, or
credit card number to outside agencies.
Special notes for kids
We are a family website.
As such, we take special care to protect the safety and privacy
of young people who visit and use our site. We do not
specifically collect information about children and believe
young people should have their parents consent before giving out
personal information. Since there is no way for us to verify a
visitor’s age, we encourage parents to participate in and
supervise your child’s experience on-line and review important
safety tips with them before your child explores the internet.
Privacy Policy Changes
If we decide to change our
website privacy policy, we will post those changes here so you
will always know what information we gather, how we may use that
information and our disclosure policy. |
