Thus walk the planters ֹ
Joy in (their) heart and a shovel in ֹ ֹ ‫כְֹךֹהֹולֹכֹיםֹ ֹהשֹו ֹת ֹלים‬
(their) hand
From the city and from the village ֹ
From the valley, from the mountain ‫ יֹ ֹצ ֹחקֹ ֹשֹנ ֹהר‬:‫מֹלֹים‬
On Tu B’Shvat ‫ יֹדֹי ֹדיֹהֹ ֹא ֹדמֹון‬:‫לֹחֹן‬
On Tu B’Shvat
:‫כְך הֹולכים השֹותלים‬
Why have you come, planters? ,‫רן ּבלב ואֹת ּביד‬
We will hit the ground and the rock
And we’ll dig pits all around ,‫מן העיר ּומן הכפר‬
On the mountains and on the plain –‫ מן ההר‬,‫מן העמק‬

On Tu B’Shvat !‫ּבט"ּו ּבשבט‬

What will be here, planters?
A plant will come to every pit ?‫ הּׁשֹותלים‬,‫למה ּבאתם‬
A forest will spread its shade ,‫נְך ּבקרקע ּובצר‬
Over our bare country
On Tu B’Shvat ‫וגּומֹות סביב נחּפר‬
On Tu B’Shvat –‫ּבהרים ּובמישֹור‬

?‫ הּׁשֹותלים‬,‫מה יהא פה‬
,‫שתיל יבֹוא ּבכל גּומה‬

,‫יער עד יפרׂשֹצלֹו‬
