Introduction – the Origin of Tu-Bishvat Seder

The Kabbalists from Safed instituted a “Seder (order) of the Night of Tu
B’Shvat”. This ‘seder’ is a little like the Passover Seder. They determined that
at a Tu B’Shvat Seder one should eat many fruits, bless them, say a Dvar Torah,
and during the eating of these fruits concentrate on amending the sin of Adam,
who sins by the fruit of the tree.
