?ר ֵמ ֹ וא אוּה ה ָמ ם ָּ ת
תי ֵּ ב ִמ ,םִי ָר ְצ ִּ מ ִמ יי וּנ ָאי ִצ ֹ וה דָי ק ֶזֹח ְּ ב :וי ָל ֵא ָּ ת ְר ַ מ ָאְו ?תאֹּז ה ַ ממ
.םי ִד ָב ֲע
The simpleton, what does he say?
"What is this?" Thus you shall say to him: "With a
strong hand the L-rd took us out of Egypt, from the
house of slaves."
?ל ֹ וא ְ ׁ ש ִל ַ ע ֵד ֹ וי ֹ וני ֵא ֶ ׁ שְו

רוּב ֲע ַּ ב ,רֹמא ֵל אוּה ַ ה ם ֹ וי ַּ ב ך ְנ ִב ְל ָּ ת ְד ַּג ִהְו :ר ַ מ ֱא ֶּ נ ֶ ׁ ש , ֹ ול ח ַ ת ְפּ ְּ ת ַ א
.םִי ָר ְצ ִּ מ ִמ י ִתא ֵצ ְּ ב י ִל יי ה ָ ׂש ָע ה ֶז
As for the one who does not know how to ask,
you must initiate him, as it is said:
"You shall tell your child on that day, `It is because
of this that the L-rd did for me when I left Egypt.'"
