.ם ָ ׁ ש םי ִנָיּ ֻצ ְמ ל ֵא ָר ְ ׂשִי וּי ָה ֶ ׁ ש ד ֵמ ַ ל ְמ - י ֹ וג ְל ם ָ ׁ ש י ִהְיַו

"And he became there a nation" this teaches that Israel was distinctive
there.

א ֵל ָּ מ ִּ תַו ,דֹא ְמ דֹא ְמ ִּ ב וּמ ְצ ַ עַיַו וּ ּ ב ְרִיַו וּצ ְר ְ ׁ שִיַו וּר ָפּ ל ֵא ָר ְ ׂשִי י ֵנ ְבוּ :ר ַ מ ֱא ֶּ נ ֶ ׁ ש ֹ ומ ְּ כ - םוּצ ָע ,ל ֹ וד ָּג
.ם ָתֹא ץ ֶר ָא ָה

"Great, mighty," as it is said: "And the children of Israel were fruitful and
increased abundantly, and multiplied and became very, very mighty, and

the land became filled with them.”

,ךִי ָמ ָד ְּ ב ת ֶס ֶס ֹ ו ּ ב ְת ִמ ך ֵא ְר ֶאָו ךִי ַ ל ָע רֹב ֱע ֶאָו .הָי ְר ֶעְו םֹר ֵע ְּ ת ַ אְו , ַ ח ֵּ מ ִצ ך ֵר ָע ְ ׂשוּ וּנֹכ ָנ םִי ַ ד ָ ׁ ש

יִי ֲח ךִי ַ מ ָד ְּ ב ך ָל ר ַ מֹאָו ,יִי ֲח ךִי ַ מ ָד ְּ ב ך ָל ר ַ מֹאָו
"And numerous," as it is said: "I passed over you and saw you wallowing
in your bloods, and I said to you `By your blood you shall live,' and I said to

you `By your blood you shall live!' I caused you to thrive like the plants of

the field, and you increased and grew and became very beautiful your
bosom fashioned and your hair grown long, but you were naked and

bare."
