Our staff will be delighted to help you achieve significant progress in Hebrew while enjoying the process.
Please note below the terms and conditions which apply to our program.
Course schedule
Ulpan-Or courses occur either during a 12-week semester (winter, spring, summer, fall) or Intensive (every day) short Boost courses between the semesters.
Ulpan-Or will coordinate course duration, starting date, and schedule with the student before beginning the course.
To ensure your success, please make every effort possible to adhere to your schedule.
In the event of a didactic or any other need, Ulpan-Or may switch you to a different teacher during your course.
Students will have access to all required lesson materials for the duration of the course. At the end of the semester course, the student account will be closed and the learning materials will be removed.
Note: Ulpan-Or does not schedule lessons during Shabbat, as well as Jewish and Israeli holidays.
Communication platforms:
Online learning is facilitated through Zoom, Skype, or any other internet platform.
Lessons may be recorded for quality monitoring and improvement purposes.
Lesson Cancellations and Changes
At Ulpan-Or, we care deeply about every student’s progress and success. To ensure that learning stays effective, our lessons follow a careful
ly designed schedule. Because of this structured framework, we are unable to offer make-up lessons or rescheduling.
We understand that sometimes unexpected things come up. If a student cannot attend a scheduled session, the teacher will prepare a recorded explanation and/or a pre-recorded lesson, together with a clear assignment. The student is then expected to review the recording and complete the work independently—this way, learning continues smoothly, even if a live session was missed.
For late arrivals, teachers will wait up to 10 minutes. After that time, the lesson will be considered missed.
We know this policy may feel strict, but it allows us to give all students the structure, accountability, and consistency they need to achieve real results in their Hebrew journey. Thank you for understanding and committing to this process—it’s the key to making your progress both steady and successful.
Changes to Course Dates by the Teacher
In case the teacher needs to change the lesson dates, he/she will coordinate those in advance with the students.
Substitute teacher
If the teacher isn’t available for the lesson, Ulpan-Or will provide the student with a substitute teacher.
