NEW T&C- Sept. 2021
Welcome to the Ulpan-Or Hebrew course.
We will do our utmost to provide you with the best possible program based on our
RLA – Rapid Language Acquisition method.
Our staff will be delighted to help you achieve significant progress in Hebrew while enjoying the process.
Please note below the terms and conditions which apply to our program.
Ulpan-Or courses occur either during a 12-week semester (winter, spring, summer, fall) or Intensive (every day) short Boost courses between the semesters.
Ulpan-Or will coordinate course duration, starting date, and schedule with the student before beginning the course.
To ensure your success, please make every effort possible to adhere to your schedule.
In the event of a didactic or any other need, Ulpan-Or may switch you to a different teacher during your course.
Note: Ulpan-Or does not schedule lessons during Shabbat, as well as Jewish and Israeli holidays.
Ulpan-Or course subscriptions are calendar-based, i.e., their duration is determined by the period to which the student subscribes. Therefore, subscriptions are not based on a pre-calculated number of lessons.
Online learning is facilitated through Zoom, Skype, or any other internet platform.
Lessons may be recorded for quality monitoring and improvement purposes.
Lesson Cancellations and Changes
Consistency of the lessons is essential for your progress, and we do not encourage changes or cancellations.
Our courses are structured so that no make-up lessons are available.
However, if the students do not show up for their session, we will make every effort to provide them with a recorded explanation/assignment or a pre-recorded lesson when possible.
Late show up: the teacher will wait only up to 10 minutes. Passed that, the lesson will be considered missed.
Changes to Course Dates by the Teacher
In case the teacher needs to change the lesson dates, he/she will coordinate those in advance with the students.
If the teacher isn’t available for the lesson, Ulpan-Or will provide the student with a substitute teacher.
Suspension of course
To suspend your online course, you must notify us in writing out a suspension form during the first four sesisons.
Suspension can be for one full semester only. Any more than that is considered as discontinuation of the course (see next item).

Your course subscription will renew automatically on the 1st day of the following semester unless you notify us otherwise at least 30 days in advance.
To discontinue your course for the next period, you must notify in writing about the cancellation 30 days before end of the current period.
